The goal of this project is to expand demand and investment in mass timber through regulatory reform, capital access, and market development.

Key Strategies:

  • Launch Target Market Accelerators for housing, healthcare, industrial/data centers, and military construction.
  • Reform zoning and building codes in 20+ cities to enable modular housing.
  • Educate investors and insurers; develop underwriting tools to de-risk projects.
  • Support entrepreneurs with business training and access to capital.
  • Create a revolving loan fund and online marketplace for modular housing.

Impact by 2035:

  • Mass timber output grows from $3.6B to $10.6B.
  • 25 new production facilities added.
  • Mass timber becomes a preferred building material in public and private sectors.
  • U.S. regains price parity with imports and leads in resilient, sustainable construction.
